Abstract: Pisorisporium cymbiforme is reported new to Sweden, based on a finding in the province of Jämtland, where the species was collected in moist conditions near the river Lerdalsälven. The Swedish material is described with macro-, micro-, and habitat photos. The species was found in an area with many rare lichen species, some of which also known to grow on hardwood periodically submerged in water. A key is provided to help differ similar species from P. cymbiforme.
