Abstract: Flammocladiella anomiae is described and illustrated based on material occurring on ascomata of Massaria anomia on Robinia pseudoacacia in France and Bulgaria. The placement of this fungus in the genus Flammocladiella and its segregation from F. decora are based on study of its sexual-asexual morphs, primarily showing differences in ascomatal and conidial dimensions, and phylogenetic comparison of ITS1-5.8S-ITS2 and LSU sequences with those of F. decora and species belonging to families in the Hypocreales
