Abstract: Gibellula pulchra is a parasitic fungus on Arachnids, rather common and widely distributed worldwide. This notice provides a full description based on several collections, accompanied by illustrations in colors and SEM photographs of the main microscopic characters. A brief history of hyphomycetes growing on spiders is proposed. The systematics of this species is discussed, especially through the article 59 of ICN (Melbourne)
