Abstract: A new pezizalean genus named Cupulina is presented. A description and illustrations of both macroscopic and microscopic characters of Cupulina montana sp. nov. are provided. Differences from the morphologically close Leucoscypha patavina and L. semiimmersa are being discussed. Several recent collections of Cupulina montana from mountainous regions of France, Switzerland and Austria are reported
