Abstract: Cistella helvetica, a rare species of the Hyaloscyphaceae on ferns is described and illustrated after a collection from Britanny (France). This collection seems to be the first one from France. A summary of the history of the genera Cistella Quél. is given along with a few notes about other species growing on the same substrate
