Diagnosis Suprapellis peridii maturitate aliquot hyphalibus moniliformibus ob parietes irregulariter incrassatos; sectio transversalis peridii suprapelle prosenchymatica, pelleque subpelle hypharum prosenchymatica cellulis dispersis inflatis. Sporae ellipsoideae vel subfusoideae, extremis obtusis vel subacutis; ornamento reticulato excludo, in ascis 1-sporis 42.5–62.5 × 17.5–30 mm et Q = 1.55–2.5 (–2.9), in ascis 2-sporis 32.5–50 × 15–25 mm et Q = 1.5–2.4. Holotypus hic designatus: Bonito GB 284, Oregon, Benton County, Starker Forests Tum Tum Tree Farm near Blodgett.
