Diagnosis Ascomata hypogaea, subglobosa vel impolite lobulata, 0.5-2 cm, peridio albocremeo vel albobrunneolo vel alborubeolo, numerosis effusis hyphis, 40-80 × 2-4 µm, praedito. Peridium 100-130 µm latum, prosenchymatica structura, ex cellulis 9-17 µm constitutum. Gleba albogrisea vel brunnea in maturitate, numerosis albidis venis incomposite distributis, formantibus dispersum reticulum. Asci subglobosi 90-125 × 70-95 µm, sæpius 1-4 sporis. Sporae 33-55 × 30-45 µm, ellipsoideae vel subglobosae, vel raro globosae, in juventute hyalinae, in maturitate brunneoluteolae. Sporarum ornamenta ex reticulo 9-12 hexagonis cellulis brevioribus quam 2 µm, altis atque varia longitudine constituto. Odor laevis.
