Basionym Trichophaeopsis latispora J. Moravec, Česká Mykol., 33 (1): 13 (1979).

Diagnosis Apothecium 1.2 mm diam., orbiculare, sessile, turbinato-disciforme, thecio pIano, albido-subvirescente, extus pilis fuscis, brevibus, obsitum. Excipulum externum in parte inferiore "textura angularis" e cellulis angularibus 5-14 µm diam. (membranis 0.8-1 µm crassis), parte superiore cellulis minoribus, margo excipuli cum cellulis prismaticis minoribus, 3-9 µm diam., in seriebus verticalibus ordinatis saepeque anguste-clavatis terminatis. Pili 80-270 (-320) × 8-16 µm luteofusci, sparse septati, vel. unicellulares, membranis 1.2-3 µm crassis. recti vel curvati, apice acuti vel subobtusi, basi non dilatati sed saepe attenuati, simplices vel rare biramosi. Asci 150-200 × 15-19 µm, crasse cylindracei, operculati, octospori, vel rare cum 4 sporis maturis et 4 sporis immaturis, non amyloidei. Paraphyses filiformes, 2.5 µm crassae, supra paulum incrassatae usque (ad 3 µm), rectae, simplices vel remosae. Ascosporae (15)-16.3-19.2(-23) × (10.8)-12.2-15(-16.3) µm globoso-ellipsoideae, eguttulatae, laeves vel saepe minute vel subgrosse verrucosae; verrucae cyanophilae, multiformes, irregulariter distributae, 0.2-1.4 µm diam. et 0.1-0.6 µm altae. (Cotton bleu Geigy s 123, oil immers. 1575 + objective 105).
Habitat: Bohemoslovakia, Moravia, loco Těsnohlídkovo údolí near Bflavice nad Svitavou (districtus Brno), ad acus piceos deiectos non procul carbonario loco nudo in silva sub Picea abiete, 13.VIII.1977 leg. Jiří Moravec et Alois Vágner (typus PRM).
