Diagnosis Cupula parva vel mediocris (10-15 mm diam), ita ea S. javensis morphologicaliter similis (sed hypothecio manifestum praesens), et sporis majoribus (18-25 × 8-12 µm) et ascis (250-) 270-350 (-420) × 9-13 µm, praedita. Ut in S. austriaca, sporae maturae plurimae conidia parientes. (Nomen Prof. Kevin C. Nixon honorat.)
