Basionym Aleuria tuberculata Gamundí, Fl. Criptog. Tierra del Fuego, 10 (3): 116 (1975).
Diagnosis Apothecia mediocria vel magna (20-22 mm diam.), tenua, sessilia, cupulata, inaequalia, interdum auriculiformia externe glabra, ad marginem pruinosa, miniata ad basim pallidiora; hymenio miniato; margine tenue, undulato, integro interdum eroso. Asci cylindracei, ad apicem piani, superne parietibus leniter jodo-coerulescentibus, 260-300 × 12-14 µ. Paraphyses simplices, pluriseptatae, superne incrassatae et tortae, granulis aurantiacis impletae, jodo-viridescentes. Ascosporae late ellipsoideae, pallide flavescentes uniguttulatae, tuberculatae, verrucis rotundatis, densis, fere secernatis, raro concrescentibus, 15-16.6 × 10.8-11 µ. Subhymenium 80-100 µ crassum textura intricata compacta vel textura epidermoidea. Excipulum homogeneum, 720-960 µ crassum, e cellulis globosis, hyalinis 24-100 µ diam. et hyphis pigmentatis 8-12 µ diam. intermixtis. Habitat terricola.
