Diagnosis Cupulis carnosis, gregariis, sessilibus, 1-3 lin. latis, primo subconcavis, demum applanatis repandisque, glabris, vix marginatis, aurantio-sanguineis, extus palli- dioribus, colore immutabili; ascis longe stipitatis, cylindraceis, 8sporis, 116 Mik. long, (pars sporifer.), 16 Mik. crass.; sporidiis monostichis, globosis, nucleatis, hyalinis, episporio reticulato, 16 Mik. diametr.; paraphysibus filiformibus, aurantiacis, copiosis.
Auf verlassenen Brandstellen, Kohlenmeilern und dergl., sehr selten, im Herbst. Im Oestricher und Budenheimer Wald.
