Diagnosis Differs from all other Pachyphloeus spp. by its smooth, greenish-brown ascomata. Type: China. Yunnan Province, Qiaojia County, in soil under forest dominated by Pinus armandii, 16 Oct. 2013, Jin-zhong Cao 807 (Holotype, BJTC FAN302; GenBank KP027405, KT220750).
