Diagnosis Apotheciis sparsis vel aggregatis, sessilibus in sclerotiformibus radicibus, auriformibus, 8 cm. altis, extus nigro-brunneis, hymenio avellaneo; ascis cylindraceis, 100-130 × 10 µ, octosporis, J-; ascosporis ellipsoideis, subflavis, 2-guttatis, 12-14 × 6-7 µ; paraphysibus filiformibus, apicibus curvatis.
