Basionym Morchella magnispora Büyükalaca, H.H. Doğan & Taşkın, Mycotaxon, 131: 475 (2016).

Diagnosis Differs from Morchella brunnea and M. fekeensis, its reciprocally monophyletic sister species, by its stipe turning honey-brown with age, its narrow sulcus, its genealogical exclusivity in a multigene phylogenetic analysis, and its apparent endemism in Turkey

Type ANK Taşkın 104 - holotypus

MycoBank 813588
