Diagnosis Pileus 10-18 mm latus, lobis reflexis et stipiti adnatis ; hymenium nigrum, subtus venosus, cinereus. Stipes 10-15 mm, crassus, brevis, subaequalis, non sulcatus, sublaevis, partim in terra celatus. Asci octospori, subclavati, circa 400 × 17 µ ; paraphysae apice clavatae, filiformes. Sporae breviter ellipticae, 23 × 12-15 µ, laeves, magnae guttulae fere repletae. Excipulum exterius e textura angulare, intus e textura intricata. In terra argillacea nuda. Typus in LY P.B. n° 949.
