Diagnosis Ascophano granuliformi paululum major, sparsus, raro aggregatus, 1–1/2 mill. latus, ochraceo-carneus, convexus sed magis applanatus, disco minute papillato ; thecis oblongis 8-sporis. Receptaculum convexum, subapplanatum, glabrum, sessile, ochraceo aut cinereo-roseum aut lilacinum, disco minute papillato. Paraphyses hyalinae, simplices aut ad basin divisae, septatae, ad apicem oblongo-piriformes. Thecae oblongae, amplae, ad basin altenuatae, sporas 8 includentes. Sporae hyalinae, regulariter subovatae, leves.
Sparsus in stercore vaccino vetusto sed rarior, rarissime subaggregatus. Montmorency.
