Basionym Cheilymenia bregavaensis Jukić & Omerović, Ascomycete.org, 17 (5): 214 (2025).

Diagnosis Distinguished from other Cheilymenia spp. by a combination of the following characters:
• persistently white colour of the apothecia, representing a stable hereditary trait;
• perisporial ascospore ornamentation in the form of longitudinal striae and rounded apicular pustules, and the presence of a prominent mucilaginous ascospore sheath;
• a non-fimicolous lifestyle.
