Diagnosis Subglobose, densely verrucose, 2.5 cm. in diam., color orange red; cavity gyrose; gleba white, firm; asci subovate, 8-spored, 50 × 38 µ; spores cylindrical, containing from one to three oil globules, 18 × 8 µ.
