Diagnosis Ascomata laxissime gregaria vel sparsa, minuta, vix ⅓–½ mill. diam., externe aquose albida, epithecio dilute olivaceo ex ascis exilientibus nigro-punctato, totaliter in fimo immersa, non vel labiis tantum exertis. crassiusculis atque laceris. Asci pauci 5–10, magni 150–160 × 40, clavato-saccati, breviter ac crasse stipitati, superne crassiuscule tunicati, octospori, paraphysibus septulatis apice curvulis obvallati. Sporidia disticha vel irregulariter polysticha, elliptica, 25 × 14, primo hyalina, levia, dein amoene violacea, minute ac densissime verruculosa, postremo roseo-fuliginea.
