Diagnosis Apothecia superficialia, sessilia, 0.8–1.5 mm lata, 0.5–1 mm alta, turbinata, quidque margine manifesto furfuraceo cinctum. Discus initio flavidus, postea pallide fulvus; pars exterior apothecii fulva, ad marginem versus violascens. Cellulae globulares 12–25 µm latae per superficiem exteriorem apothecii sparsim gregulos formantes, particulis crystalloidibus violaceis 1–3 µm latis irregulariter dispositis partim tectae. Hymenium 170–200 µm altum; asci operculati, 180–220 µm longi, 15–21 µm lati, cylindrici vel davati, membranis mixtura Melzeri non vel vix coerulescentibus. Sporae fusiformes, 17.3–19.0–20.3 × 8.3–9.2–10.5 µm magnae, violaceae, costis subparallelis ornatae 5–6 µm latis, interdum passim in pustulas verruciformes incrassatis.
Holotypus die 24 Maji anni 1975 in stercore Columbae palumbi prope vicum Funder ex oppido danico Silkeborg in occidentem situm a M.D. Paulsen lectus, siccus in Herbario Hauniensi (C) depositus.
