Abstract: A newly found species of Picoa, P. cartagenensis, fruiting abundantly in a plantation of mycorrhizal woody Helianthemum plants in Campo de Cartagena (Murcia, southeastern Spain), is described based on macro- and micromorphological characters and compared with closely related species of Picoa sect. Lefebvreorum.
