Diagnosis On ground amongst grass. Sessile (1–2 inches); cup-shaped, then expanded and flattened smooth, dark vinous brown; disc of the same color; asci cylindrical, sporidia elliptical rugose (.0005 × .0003 inches). New Jersey (Ellis).
