Octospora phagospora (Flageolet & Lorton) Dennis & Itzerott, Kew Bull., 28 (1): 17 (1973).

Basionym Humaria phagospora Flageolet & Lorton, in Lorton, Bull. Soc. mycol. Fr., 30 (2): 222 (1914).

Diagnosis Minuta, 0,5-1 mm. lata, sparsa, sessilis, plana vel subconvexa, tenuiter marginata, aurantio-carnosa, humiditate decolorata, gIabra, pruinosa; hymenio concolore. Thecae cylindraceae, ad basim, brevissime attenuato·stipitatae, primo octosporae, demum tetrasporae, 140 × 12 µ. Paraphyses simplices, septatae, granulis aurantiacis repletae, ad apicem sensim incrassatae, 4 µ. latae. Sporae primo 6-8 in unaquaque theca, tunc laeves, sed bene conformatae et quandoque guttulis una vel duabus dotatae, dein quatuor tantum in maturo statu, et tune granulato-asperulae vel acute verrucosae, ovatae, continuae, hyalinae, et guttula oleosa sat ampla, saepius unica, raro duabus, inaequalibus, fetae, 18 × 11 µ.
Ad terram argillaceam et udam inter muscos parvulos.
