Diagnosis Aspectus generalis – Morchella M. eximiae similis, sed graciliori pediculo. Pileus satis ovatus, imus pileus parum prolatus, summus obtusus-globosus, 5-3 cm. Costae ordinatae etiam ima parte sine primariis alveolis ad imam partem. Alveoli omnes secundarii , ordinati, quadrangulares depressis costis, colori ochraceo. Sporae parvae, acqualiter ellipsoides. Asci Melzer pallidi rubeo-brunei. Paraphysae in summa particula fusi forma effusi, globosae et septatae, plerumque communi forma. Sphaerocystae ordinatae, media mensura, ferrentes spissos angustos pilos, ad summam partem saeptos. Locis adustis locis in frondosis silvis vicinis.
