Cookeina speciosa (Fr.) Dennis, Mycotaxon, 51: 239 (1994).

Basionym Peziza speciosa Fr., Syst. mycol., 2: 84 (1822).

Diagnosis P. speciosa, coccinea, cupula hemisphaerica ciliata, stipite unciali tuberoso. — Plum. l. c. f. C. media videtur inter P. coccineam (an jam memorata Michel. t. 86. f. 5) & sequentem tribum.
