Diagnosis Icon. Mycol. II. Pl. 409. – Minutus, 1-2 mm. Latus, turbinatus aut breviter stipitatus, luteus, extus glaber, hymenio thecis nigro-punctato. Thecae clavatae, octosporae, 150-200 µ longae, 20-25 crassae, paraphyses lineares, ad apicem vix incrassatae, septatae, 5-7 µ spissae, et ut thecae, in gelo luteo immersae. Sporae ellipticae, striatae, juniores albae, maturae violaceae et irregulariter in thecis maturescentes, 23-25 µ longae, 13-14 latae.
