Diagnosis Apothecia sessilia vel breve stipitata, 1.0-1.8 µm diam. Receptaculum primo turbinatum vel cupulatum, dein subdiscoideum, pallide usque ad obscure succineo-brunneum; subtiliter tomentosum, margine primo membranaceum, dein irregulariter crenulatum usque ad fimbriatum. Discus hyalinus usque ad pallidissime brunneus. Hymenium 200-220 µm crassum. Excipulum medullare usque ad 600 µm crassum vel ulterius, e textura globulosa vel angulare. Excipulum corticale basi 9-15 µm crassum, margine 22-35 µm crassum, e textura globulosa. Pili superficiales hyphoidei, subcylindracei, plus minusve adpressi, ramosi, septati, 2-4.5 µm latis, excipuli margine apicibus clavatis 8-10 µm lati. Asci cylindracei 208-220 × 14-16 µm, 8-spori; pariete iodi ope haud caerulescente. Ascosporae ellipsoideae, primo hyalinae, denique pallide luteo-brunneae, 17.7-21.0 × 10.2-12.3 µm, laeves. Paraphyses filiformes, ramosae, hyalinae, 1.5-2.3 µm crassae, apice non incrassatae. In fimo vaccino.
