Diagnosis Galactinia hypoleuca Boud. et Torr. (Planche IV, Fig. I)
Media aut major, 2 cm. 1/2 ad 4 1/2 lata, sessilis, extus albida, sublaevis, intus brunnea. Receptaculum primo cupulatum, dein expansum, applanatum, extus albidum aut pallidum, glabrum, ad marginem vix furfuraceum ; hymenio brunneo aut fuliginoso. Paraphyses septatae, simplices aut divisae, ad apices incrassatae, fulventes. Thecae iodo caerulescentes, elongatae, cylindricae, ad basim vix attenuatae, octosporae, 300–350 µ longae, 15–20 crassae. Sporae oblongo-ovatae, hyalinae, extus minute verrucosae, intus guttula oleosa magna, unica et 2–3 minoribus comitata rarius conjunctis et tunc 2-guttulatae, 22–25 µ longae, 11–13 latae.
Ad terram prope Lisbonne a Rev. Torrend, decembro 1907 reperta.
