Diagnosis Ascoma usque ad 20 cm et amplius ; pileo M. esculentae simili, sed longiore ; frequentioribus, minoribus, longioribus et minus regularibus alveolis. Sub Fraxino americana. Holotypus: Michigan (USA États-Unis), 2009, leg. H. et S. Smith, PhC 51 (in herbario LIP conservatur).
