Diagnosis Differs from other species of Lamprospora by its perfectly globose ascospores with a surface densely covered with numerous small isolated warts and few isolated bigger warts together with an infection inducing galls on the rhizoids of its host Campylopus pyriformis (K.F. Schultz) Brid.
