AB  - Ascobolus grandisporus Tello & Delpont sp. nov. is a new coprophilous species which has been collected in Spain. It has been observed growing on bare soil surrounded by rabbit dung (Oryctogalus cuniculus L.), sodden in their urine. Furthermore, two collections have been picked after being incubated in a humid chamber. Its large spherical spores lead us to discuss its possible link with other species of the section Sphaeridiobolus (Boud.) Brumm.
