AB  - Cookeina korfii (Ascomycetes, Pezizales, Sarcoscyphaceae) is described from the Philippines. Ascospores are smooth, smaller than Cookeina tricholoma (Mont.) Kuntze, and hairs are more flexuous than in C. tricholoma. Analyses of the ITS region shows it to be close to Cookeina tricholoma and Cookeina sinensis Z. Wang
