Scabropezia flavovirens) is a remarkable species belonging to a Pezizaceae genus with spherical spores, showing similarities with the genera Plicaria and Pachyphloeus. A new collection, made during the summer 2011, enables a complete description and illustration of this rare taxon. Some taxonomical and systematical precisions are also given
