AB  - This report presents the four species of Ascodesmis (Ascomycota, Pezizales) recorded in Norway, and an updated map of their distribution. All are coprophilous, and occur on dung of both carnivorous and herbivorous animals. The species are illustrated by scanning electronmicrography of their ascospores, which is the main distinguishing character at species level. Systematics are briefly discussed, and Ascodesmis is genetically close to the genus Eleutherascus
