Three more slender species occasionally featuring more robust stromata are included, viz.: X. curta, X. hyperythra and X. scruposa. All of these are known species, most of which are commonly encountered and have a pantropical distribution. A dichotomous identification key and a synoptic figure plate of stromata are presented.}}
